1M S-video Cable

The Vampire Wire 1m S-Video Cable restores the best possible picture quality from legacy analogue video equipment by transmitting the luminance and chrominance signals through separate channels rather than combining them as composite video does. This separation is what makes S-Video the superior analogue video standard it eliminates the colour bleeding, dot crawl, and cross-colour artefacts that are the hallmark of composite connections, giving you a noticeably sharper, cleaner image on any S-Video-capable display.

If you are getting the most out of a DVD player, VHS recorder, Hi8 camcorder, or classic games console, an S-Video connection is the right choice. At 1 metre, this cable is perfectly sized for connecting components in close proximity on an AV rack, home theatre shelf, or editing desk. Vampire Wire produces a focused range of audio and video cables built for reliable signal transmission at a practical price point, making this an accessible upgrade for anyone working with legacy AV equipment.

While S-Video has been superseded by HDMI in modern systems, for older source devices it remains the best available analogue video connection. Available from Foto Discount World in Pretoria South Africa's trusted camera and AV specialist.
